Ethiopia Nguisse Nare

Nguisse Nare is an Ethiopian producer who recently purchased a coffee farm in the Bensa district of Sidama, a region of Ethiopia. He started this journey 4 years ago to increase the quality of coffees coming out of Bensa.

This coffee is a testament to his hard work. The coffee is first picked, sorted using water to separate the ripe and unripe cherries, and then dried for 20 days on raised beds. This particular coffee is a 74158 heirloom variety with clean but sweet notes of hibiscus, raspberry, and honey.

It stood out to us by being one of the cleanest Ethiopian natural coffees we’ve had the pleasure of tasting.
