Paix Coffee was founded by longtime friends and coffee professionals, Seth McDaniel and Danny Hodge, who met while working in Richmond’s coffee scene. What began as a mobile espresso cart popping up around the city has grown into a small café and roastery in the heart of the Richmond, Virginia.

We roast to highlight each coffee’s unique character — from origin to process — and aim to create memorable experiences through exceptional quality. If we wouldn’t drink it ourselves, we won’t serve it.

OUR MISSION

Our name reflects the kind of environment we aim to create: welcoming, intentional, and rooted in community. We believe everyone longs for peace — and if we can offer even a small piece of that through a conversation or a cup of coffee, we’ve done our job.
